Resources for social work supervisors

Already a supervisor and looking for resources? Or ready to become one? Training, tools, and ongoing education for social work supervisors.

Become a supervisor

The 40-hour LCSW-S supervisor training

In Texas, becoming an LCSW-S requires completing a 40-hour supervisor training, taught by an LCSW-S, that meets TSBSWE and BHEC guidelines.

Angie Lutts, LCSW-S, and I co-teach this course through the Social Work Learning Collective. We focus on the rules and regulations and the ethics of supervising, through a decolonizing lens. You'll leave understanding what it takes to supervise well, with templates and resources to get you started.

  • "I appreciated how thorough you were and how well-versed you are in the rules, ethics, and standards of practice."40-Hour Supervisor Training participant, 2026
  • "Demystifying the BHEC website for me was huge!"40-Hour Supervisor Training participant, 2026
  • "The training was super organized, relevant, and informative."40-Hour Supervisor Training participant, 2026

Run your practice

FeelSuper: the platform I run my supervision practice on

Before FeelSuper, my supervision practice ran on a patchwork system: some things on paper, some in Google Drive, and some still sitting in my inbox because I was too busy to file them.

I was a beta tester for FeelSuper, giving feedback as it was developed, and it changed how my practice runs. Now everything lives in one place, and the system handles the reminders I used to chase.
